Hi, I'm Shantara Bussey-Martin, MSW, LCSW-QS, CMNCS , founder of TEA Time Therapeutic Services.
I believe healing begins when you have a safe space to be seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you find hope, healing, and lasting change.
My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself while learning practical skills to manage life's challenges, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and reconnect with the version of yourself you've been missing.
At TEA Time Therapeutic Services, I don't believe therapy is about "fixing" you—because you aren't broken. Therapy is about helping you better understand yourself, develop healthier patterns, and gain the confidence and tools to create the life you deserve.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. Together, we'll take one step at a time as you learn to pour back into your life.
I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a safe place to heal. Life can be overwhelming, but no one should have to face those challenges alone.
In 2022, I founded TEA Time Therapeutic Services to make compassionate, high-quality mental health care more accessible. Watching clients overcome obstacles, rediscover hope, and grow into the person they want to become is one of the greatest privileges of my work.
My mission is simple: to help you gain the confidence, tools, and support you need to create a healthier, more fulfilling life.
I integrate CBT, ACT, CPT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches to meet your unique needs.
In addition to my clinical training as an LCSW, I am a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS). This advanced certification enhances my understanding of how nutrition, lifestyle, and overall wellness can influence emotional health. While therapy remains the foundation of my practice, I take a holistic, evidence-informed approach that considers the many factors contributing to mental well-being.

Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you're returning after time away, I'm honored you're here. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, growth, and becoming the healthiest version of yourself.
